What are Neighbourhood Profiles?

The City of Saskatoon publishes Neighbourhood Profiles with a wealth of demographic data for each residential neighbourhood in Saskatoon, such as how many people own houses, average income of residents, park space per resident, ethnic diversity and political participation.  The data in Neighbourhood Profiles is used by a variety people; residents, business owners and community organizations, to help plan for the future or just provide a snapshot of a neighbourhood.

Data from many sources are used in the Neighbourhood Profiles.  This edition includes data from the 2011 Federal Census, Statistics Canada, eHealth Saskatchewan, RBC Economics Research, administrative data from a variety of agencies and specific sources related the Saskatoon Census Metropolitan Area (CMA).
