Community Meeting

Your Community Association meets quarterly, at 7:00 p.m., usually on the first Tuesday of September, December, March and June.
Unless otherwise indicated, the meetings will be open to all residents of Your Community.

Upcoming Meeting

Tuesday, March 5, 2024 7:00 p.m. at Queen Elizabeth School
TOPIC: Elisabeth Miller (from the City’s Neighbourhood Safety Section), Madison Zablocki (from the City’s Neighbourhood Planning Section) and Constable Jason Tomaz (from Saskatoon Police Service) will join us to discuss the safety-related recommendations of the Queen Elizabeth & Exhibition Local Area Plan (2020).
To recap, these are the relevant recommendations from the LAP:
8.11 – Ruth Street and Lorne Avenue Intersection – Gang Activity Concerns
That the Saskatoon Police Service meet with the Queen Elizabeth-Exhibition-Haultain Community Association to discuss gang activity concerns in the area.
8.12 – Ruth Street and Lorne Avenue Intersection – Public Intoxication
That the Neighbourhood Planning Section and the Queen Elizabeth-Exhibition-Haultain Community Association contact the owner and/or manager of the liquor-licensed establishment and the adjacent liquor store to identify ways to work together to reduce the incidence of public intoxication and its impact on the neighbourhood.
8.15 – Property Crime & Suspicious Behaviour Reporting
That the Neighbourhood Planning Section, in consultation with Saskatoon Police Service, provide information on the process for reporting property crime and suspicious behaviour to residents within the Exhibition LAP study area.
